Hotel issued guidance note on 'How to Prepare for the StaySafe Certification Audit'

Issue Preparation Guidance

Hotel is granted access to the online StaySafe Resources Library as this often assists hotels in their preparation

Access to StaySafe Resources

Carried out by certified StaySafe Professional auditors against the international StaySafe standards.

Independent Certification Audit

Provide an online report that adds value, enables benchmarking, identifies best practices and areas of improvement with useful management dashboards. This includes an online Risk Management Action Plan with recommendations to support the hotel risk mitigation planning

Reporting Tools

The StaySafe executive committee will review the report and risk management improvement plan prior to agreeing on the final certification level. Upon confirmation of the level of Certification, the hotel will receive their award, certificates and marketing materials.  

Certification

Each year the hotel should be re-certified to ensure the StaySafe Certification remains valid and the hotel risk management strategies are fit for purpose.
